This month marks the 40th anniversary of the historic Concert For Bangladesh, created by George Harrison to raise support for the traumatized refugees of the war-torn region. It was the first event of its kind, and it will re-performed by Darin Murphy and several friends, including Nakia, Benjamin Hotchkiss, Akina Adderly, Trish Murphy, Johnny Goudie and many more. It happens Sunday, August 28 at Threadgill's World Headquarters, 301 W Riverside Dr in South Austin. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Proceeds benefit the George Harrison fund for UNICEF. All ages welcome. Don't miss this amazing family event!!

DARIN opens for STYX Saturday, Feb 18

THIS JUST IN...got a call yesterday from my agent and I have last minute booking - a solo acoustic opener for STYX at the brand-spankin' new ACL LIVE At The Moody Theater. Show starts promptly at 8:00 and my set is about 25 minutes.

After the gig and a quick drink I'll walk around the corner to Cedar Street Courtyard and join SKYROCKET! on drums for the evening. See y'all there!
